A New Chapter for The Hearing Connection

For many years, The Hearing Connection has been built on relationships, trust, and genuinely caring for people in our community. Those values are not changing — they are continuing into a new chapter.

As many of you already know, David Neumann is entering a well-earned retirement after years of serving patients throughout the St. Joseph area. Dave has built something special: a practice centered around kindness, honesty, and helping people reconnect with the moments and conversations that matter most.

The good news is that Dave is not disappearing entirely. He will continue working part-time during this transition, helping maintain the familiar faces and continuity that so many patients value.

At the same time, I’m honored and excited to step into ownership of The Hearing Connection.

My name is Jonathan Schneider, and I’ve worked in hearing healthcare for nearly a decade. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how better hearing can transform relationships, confidence, independence, and quality of life. I believe hearing care should feel personal, supportive, educational, and never rushed.

As we move forward, our goal is simple: to preserve the heart of what people already love about The Hearing Connection while continuing to grow and modernize the experience for our patients.

That includes:

  • Expanding access to advanced hearing technology

  • Continuing patient-focused care

  • Creating a warm, welcoming environment

  • Investing in education and ongoing support

  • Building a practice centered on long-term relationships

We’re also excited to announce that The Hearing Connection will be moving into a new office location in the coming months. This new space will allow us to better serve our patients today while preparing for the future growth of the practice. We’ll be sharing more details about the move soon, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone into the new space.

Transitions can sometimes feel uncertain, especially in healthcare. But our promise is this: the people, compassion, and commitment to care that built The Hearing Connection will remain at the center of everything we do.

To our longtime patients: thank you for your trust and support through the years.

To those considering hearing care for the first time: welcome. We’re glad you’re here.

And finally, please join us in celebrating Dave’s incredible career and well-deserved retirement as we begin this exciting new chapter together!

–Jonathan

Same friendly faces. Same commitment to care. Slightly more caffeine.
